Happy Days: Day 28 of Blog Every Day in May

I have been feeling low for a couple of weeks now.  Two of my best friends at work resigned at the end of the previous school year and with the opening of the next school year just a week away, somehow I just feel so lost without them.

Since I'm feeling a little nostalgic today about all the friends who have moved on to find greener pastures and left me behind, this post is for them.

    1. Thanks Hilda! I hope so too! And to reply to your previous comment, yes, my son looks like my dad and now my new baby nephew looks like my dad and my son. :)

    1. Yes, it is. We had our retreat there some four years ago. Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Lovely photos. Everyone experiences a sense of nostalgia when friends leave school and move on with their lives. It doesn't have to mean the end of your friendships. I am forty-six and I'm still in contact with my best friends from college and law school. My college roommate and best friend is still my best friend and we are the godmother of the other's children. We only get to see each other once or twice a year, but we share the best memories and will always make more.

I am new to your blog. It is nice to meet you.

    1. Wow! That's so nice. I got my college best friend to be my son's godmother but unfortunately , she didn't get me as godmother to her son or daughter. My friend is a baptized Catholic but she is Chinese and as such still practices Buddhism. Unfortunately, I am not compatible with any of her kids. They do some computations whenever they look for godmothers or even spouses. it's like a numbers game for them. I understand but somehow it hurts.
