A Little Show and Tell

It's almost 9 am here and we are preparing to go to our Sunday Mass.  I am just waiting for my son and my husband to finish with their morning routines.  So while waiting, I decided to make a short post just to show you what has been keeping me busy these past weeks.

I have been making notebooks for myself and for others.

These are small notebooks.... 3.5 x 5.5 inches. I love the pretty  pink flowers.

I love the print of this one...so dainty!!! It's mine but I still don't know what I'm going to use it for.  Any ideas?

These are for my sister.

This is something I hand stitched for a friend named Helen.  I plan to sew using a machine next time so I can have straighter stitches.

This is my temporary notebook and it fits at least four notebook inserts and two folder inserts.  I love my butterfly crystal bead charm!  I just love how the light plays with it.  Anyway, I said it's my temporary notebook because I don't really like the way I made it. As I've said, I really need to use a sewing machine.  Fortunately, the sewing machine man is coming today to fix our sewing machine.  Yehey!!!

My husband must think I'm crazy because I spend a lot of time just staring at my notebook inserts.  I love planning my days using them.  I'm going to tell you how I use my inserts on my next post.

Okay, so I think we're ready for Mass.  "See" you soon!

Tenth Letter to Sofia

My dearest Sofia,

Kuya turned 16 last week.  We had the celebration two days before his birthday in a pizza restaurant. You might have noticed now that Kuya loves pizza.  So on his celebration we had pizza, pasta, chicken and salad (for Mommy).

I would have loved for you and Kuya to get to know each other.  You would have loved being with him.  I think he would have made you laugh with his silly antics and he would have made you smile with his music. I wanted him to have you  because I know that I won't live forever.  I guess he still has you, just not in the way I wanted him to.

This is your family.

Mommy, Daddy and Kuya

You were with me that day.  You are with me today.  You will always be with me, dear Sofie.

I love you forever.

Mommy
