Working on Our Seating Arrangements

It's just four days before my wedding. That's what my wedding ticker says!  But until now, I'm still not ready...still so many things to do! And I even have to go to school tomorrow!

After class today, Ruel and I went token hunting for our primary sponsors. Afterwards, we had choco frappe at Starbucks.  Ruel did something for work while I did the seating arrangements for the reception.

O Christmas Tree!

Yes, that's me right in front of the Christmas tree at Robinson's Mall which is a block away from school.

Ruel and I dropped by the mall to buy a few things for our wedding which is coming up in eight days!

As I have said, I haven't really been feeling the Christmas spirit yet maybe because of all the preparations for the wedding.  Still, seeing a beautiful Christmas tree like this always lifts me up.

I hope everyone has a happy Christmas season.

Just Some of My Thoughts This Tuesday Night

Today is Tuesday, just a week and five days away from our wedding.  I am really sorry for the lack of posts lately.   The wedding chores, plus work, have left me too tired to think about blogging.  It doesn't mean though that I don't miss it or that I don't miss you guys.  I do....

Anyway, here's what I am thinking this Tuesday night.

1. I have just been to the first rehearsal of our Beauty and the Beast school play.....no, I am not Belle.  But I am happy to be playing a role with a speaking part this  time.  

2.  It's almost December and like most of my countrymen,  I usually do my Christmas countdown in September.  However, it is different this year.  I don't think of Christmas as often as I used to.  I actually don't even feel it coming.  I think it has something to do with the fact that I am excitedly waiting for our wedding day.  Maybe after the wedding , it would feel Christmas all of a sudden.

3. My sister is on her 37th week of pregnancy and the baby doesn't show any signs of wanting to get out of my sister's tummy yet!   I hope she gives birth this week. 

4.  As I have said, it's barely two weeks before my wedding and I don't think there'll be any bridal shower for me.   I didn't have any shower before my first wedding  and I was hoping I could experience it this time.  

My sister already had two baby showers for this baby.   I never had a shower, bridal, baby or whatever.......

Hmm....the only shower I have experienced is the shower I take every day, in the confines of my bathroom.

So these are my thoughts, minus a few I chose not to mention.  

I'll be hitting the hay now.... so exhausted!

Waiting.....

I just got home from the dress shop.  I had my third and last fitting of my wedding gown.  The next time I would see it would be the time  I would wear it for real!

They are going to do the applique and the beadwork over the next few days.  They told me they couldn't finish it until the 30th.  We would already be leaving for Tagaytay on the 1st of December.  I wish they would hurry and deliver the gown earlier.

I guess there is nothing to do now but wait.....

Thursday (Wedding) Thoughts

I'm sorry if my blog is just full of wedding thoughts nowadays.  I guess you can't really blame me....there are just three weekends before our big day.

Anyway, here are some more of these wedding thoughts....

My son is going to play the violin during the ceremony.  This makes me very happy and I think it will make the wedding extra special.  He and the pianist will be providing the musical accompaniment to the choir.

We got the flower girl gowns two days ago and had already delivered them.  I'm sorry I cannot show any pictures. I didn't take any as I'm a little superstitious.  Don't worry, I promise I will show everything after the big day.

We are finalizing the flowers on Saturday.   I haven't decided on the colors of my bouquet.  Can you please help me decide? Should it be fuschia pink, cotton candy pink, or these shades of pink and white?  My flower girls are wearing apple green (we couldn't find a carnation green material ) with fuchsia pink sash on the waist, our mothers are wearing cotton candy pink.

What do you think is a good color for my bouquet? Please help!

Engagement Pictures Part II

I'm still feeling under the weather this evening but I know I promised you some more pictures today so before I rest,  let me share with you some more pictures I have randomly chosen from our raw file.

The photographer took 525 pictures of us during the half day shoot.  I think Ruel and  I will have a hard time choosing ten of them to be included in our signature book and another one for our tarpaulin.

Engagement Pictures!!!

We had a week of semestral break but with all the papers I had to check and all the wedding preparations we had to do,  I wasn't able to do do any blog post but one.  

Today, the last day of our break, I had to wake up early to drive to Lakeshore, Pampanga for our engagement shoot.  

I'm running a fever now, maybe from exhaustion  but I wanted to share some pictures with you all before I go to sleep tonight.
